“Mention [Kash Doll’s] name and bring the whole city out.” This statement has officially become more than just a trendy Young Jeezy tag line. For Detroit emcee and BMB signee, Kash Doll, this statement holds every bit of the truth…. and the proof lies within the photos!
For years now, Kash Doll has seemingly made it a priority to throw the biggest event of the end of the winter (of the entire winter for that matter). Unlike her previous birthday bashes, KD decided to move the celebration from the clubs straight to the big stage, as she held this years festivities at the legendary, St. Andrews Hall downtown. This time, “Kash Dolla” dished out a few gifts of her own, in the form of a live performance with an array of special guests.
Without a doubt, the show was indeed completely sold out.
Performers took to the stage before and in-between Kash Doll’s set. Artists like Detroit Che, Band Gang, Stunt Hard, Toriano, Young Gator, Zeus, BMB label mates IceWear Vezzo and Lil George, Peezy, and Sino awed over the fans with a range of hits, new and old. Funny man, Eastside Ivo, shared an epic comedic poem for the audience, while K.C. Clark (VersatileNStyle) contributed to the hosting duties alongside radio personality and CTRLDET’s own Stewe. Even the originator of KD’s hit single, “Run Me My Money (G-Mix),” Compton Av made it all the way from California to perform the original version of the “Run Me Money” track.
Of course, sounds for the hottest event in the city were provided by the hottest DJ in the city, DJBJ “Mr. 3525.”
Before coming to an end, Kash Doll’s best friend Kendra P, alongside Ms. Bling Miami, presented KD with her $4,500 “blinged out” birthday cake as well as a few birthday gifts.
